What you need
- A large poster board or paper
- Markers or pens
Setup
- Pick a lighthearted or thoughtful debate topic
- Set the rule that no one may speak aloud
- Give everyone a marker and space on the board
Play prompts
- Can you make your point using only writing and drawings?
- Can you respond directly to someone else's doodle?
- Can you guess what someone means before they explain?
Ways to change it up
- Set a timer for each 'round' of writing
- Vote on the most convincing silent argument
- Keep the poster as a memento afterward
