- A funnel
Setup
- Set a tray or tub on the floor or an easy-clean table
- Fill one jug with water or rice
- Lay out empty cups and jugs of different sizes plus a funnel
Play prompts
- Which cup do you think holds the most?
- How many small cups fill up the big jug?
- Can you pour without spilling using the funnel?
Ways to change it up
- Add food colouring to the water for a rainbow pouring station
- Use rice or dried pasta instead of water for a drier, reusable version
Safety notes
- Supervise closely with water around toddlers
- Dry rice or pasta is a choking hazard for children who still mouth objects
