What you need
- Flour or cocoa powder
- A soft makeup brush or paintbrush
- Clear tape
- Dark or light paper to lift prints onto
- A magnifying glass (optional)
Setup
- Press a clean finger firmly onto a glass or hard surface
- Dust flour or cocoa lightly over the print with the brush
- Lay tape over the print, lift it, then stick it onto paper to keep

- Whorl, loop, or arch — which pattern is your fingerprint?
- Do you and your sibling have the same pattern?
- Can you find whose print is on the fridge handle?
