What you need
- A small basket
- Baby-safe items (a clean burp cloth, a soft toy, a diaper to hand over)
Setup
- Fill a basket with a few simple, safe 'helper' items
- Give the older child a specific job with the baby
- Thank them clearly for their help

- Can you pass me the soft cloth?
- Can you sing a song to the baby?
Ways to change it up
- Let the older child choose which job to do
- Make a simple 'big kid helper' badge or sticker
